Each member of congress makes $165,000 a year. They also get the Franklin privilage which lets them send mail for free as long as it has their signature on it. If a congressmen commits a seriouise crim they could face expulsion which means they are kicked out of congress. If they do something that the congress disaproves but it is not very serious they get censured. Getting censured is when the leader of congress anounce that they are displeased with your actions.
